Scribe - The College Tutorial Manager

Scribe is an online database-driven system that organises tutorial programs. It manages: tutorial lists, student and tutor information (including enrolment, attendance, and results), room bookings, information about non-college students, other colleges, as well as other administration-related aspects of managing a tutorial program.

The Scribe system allows tutorial programs to be managed quicker and thus much time is saved. This time can allow the user to fulfil other pressing college-related duties or can assist in the building of relationships between them and staff, tutors and students.

Scribe improves communication between those involved in the tutorial program from the students, to the tutors, to other college staff members (such as room mangers and cleaners) right through to the person responsible for directing the tutorial program; it can even, where necessary, improve communication with other colleges.

Scribe keeps all of the data in one convenient location; whenever one change is made (be it rescheduling or just a last minute tutorial cancellation), Scribe will adjust the entire system and, where necessary, it will automatically email those people that need to know as well as print adjusted notices to be displayed.
